Young Nordic Opera Choir is a center for talented young classical singers and is ment to develop singing talents in the Nordic countries. We wish to create a platform for meaningfull mentoring, cross country relations and network between young professionals within classical music.
Each year the choir consists of 30 newly educated and singers who are currently studying at music colleges/schools.
Now we are looking for singers for the 2024 Choir.
This year there will be bootcamp in beautifull Sweden, concert at the Nordic Song Festival. You will also be attending Herning Opera Festival in Denmark, and finally you will be make a concert at Operudagar in Reykjavik, Iceland.
All costs for transportation, board and lodging will be covered and the singers will be paid according to their level of education.
